~Bestiary Minor~

BESERKER:

Maniacal axe-weilding monsters by profession,  they are found laughing and mumbling mischievously, hiding in the haystacks of the abandoned Farm.

BLUE ARIMAA:

The Blue Arimaa are the favoured sons of Eris. Once mere blue meanies, these elite troops were evolved by Eris to form the core of the Trickster Sorceress' rebellious faction. The fact that they have enslaved their former masters, the Red Arimaa, is the basest affront to the once mighty Ghoul Realm's retinue.

DRYAD:

Hardly the peaceful woodland spirits of myth, these plant-based automatons emit an eerie phosphorescent glow and a sinister smile, all the while splintering apart to crush approaching enemies.

FUNGUS:

Denizens of deep, dank crevices, this fungus of note resembles. in mannerism, the infamous Mantrap of earlier jaunts. They, like the Dryads, exude an eerie phosphorescent miasma.

GREMLIN:

Slightly airborne creatures with a penchant for throwing coals on top of the heads of unassuming passerby, they also enjoy harassing machines and all manner of man-made tools in particular.

OWL:

Found in the Barn among other places, these owls take a liking to night hunting. At first you only see their eyes in the darkly lit barn, then they strike.

WRAITH:

Sadly, even the lost and weary souls buried deep within the Catacombs of Sir Arthur's realm have been called to duty by Eris. They are among the deadliest, having been buried in full honor. Some even carry talismans of protection that have now been made to be vile in the hands of Eris' one-eyed whims.

ZOMBIE:
Much taller and foreboding than their previous manifestations, and  harder to, er, kill? When threatened, Zombies pop their eyes out, or headbutt their victims to knock them unconscious. They persist until completely dismembered...

The negative forces out to destroy the entire realm have made animate certain effigies intended to drive away unwanted animals. These scarecrows are truly frightening, however, to all mortal beings.
