Hengus is a man-at-arms.. His arsenal is small but vastly powerful. He always has the option of two attacks, wherein a closed fist acts as standby to his current weapon. In addition are Charges, power that can be stored which essentially "upgrade" his weapons for two levels of power (hold A or O for x seconds, release), or can be combined in an surge of energy that expends all Charges (A+O simultaneously).

Hengus is also a master of defense. His body can deflect one hit without any protection, and the gauntlet protects, as well as upgrades, his standby attack with one armor point. The boiler plates protect the body and head, each counting as one armor point. Therefore, Hengus can potentially endure Four attacks per life.
